In 2014 I worked as an intern as part of the University of Huddersfield’s Career Service, during my internship I posted a few informational and personal posts as part of my time there.
This blog post was a more personal post about what I hoped to achieve after university ended. Though not my usual writing style, I did enjoy the challenge of writing a more personal piece.
You can read an excerpt below.
‘The only way I can think to describe it is when you buy someone you love a really amazing present, not one that you’ll love, or something you just quickly picked up without thinking in a store but one specifically for them. One that you got because you know they’ll love it, one that that shows how well you know them and how much you listen and take interest in what they’re saying. That feeling is what makes me happy.’
